Board of Directors:

David Friedberg, CEO at WeatherBill. David Friedberg currently serves as the CEO of WeatherBill. He founded the company in 2006, prior to which he was with Google, where he joined as one of the founding members of the company's Corporate Development team. David managed a number of strategic projects for Google, including identifying and leading several of Google's largest acquisitions. David also served as a Business Product Manager for AdWords - Google's primary revenue source. Prior to Google, David spent several years working in private equity and investment banking. He has invested in and advised dozens of companies in the technology industry. Earlier, David worked at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, where he led several projects as a mathematical programmer. David received his BA in Astrophysics from UC Berkeley.

Siraj Khaliq, CTO at WeatherBill. Siraj Khaliq is currently CTO of WeatherBill. He founded the company in 2006, having previously worked at Google in lead technical roles on several high-profile projects, including Google Book Search, Patent Search and other offline content search initiatives. Prior to joining Google, Siraj obtained a Masters degree in Computer Science at Stanford University, where he was also a software architect for the Folding@Home research project. Siraj received his Bachelors in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge, England.

Krishna "Kittu" Kolluri, General Partner at NEA. Kittu joined NEA in 2006 as a General Partner and focuses on information technology investments. Present NEA board memberships include OANDA, NEA-IndoUS Ventures, Novatium, RingCube Technologies, SnapTell, and Teracent. Formerly, Kittu was Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Security Products Group at Juniper Networks, a position he assumed following Juniper's acquisition of NetScreen Technologies. At NetScreen, he was General Manager of Secure Access Products, a position he assumed following NetScreen's acquisition of Neoteris, where he served as President and Chief Executive Officer. Kittu brings more than 17 years of experience at the leading edge of the technology industry. He co-founded Healtheon/WebMD, introducing online healthcare to the market. Before co-founding Healtheon/WebMD, Kittu worked at Silicon Graphics, Inc. (SGI) managing high profile Interactive TV projects. Kittu holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India, and a M.S. in Operations Research from the State University of New York, Buffalo.

Neil Rimer, Partner at Index Ventures. Neil is a co-founder and Partner of Index Ventures. In 1992, Neil started the venture capital activity of Index's predecessor firm, later co-founding Index Ventures and raising the firm's first fund in 1996. Neil's investment interests include online and mobile services as well as green technology solutions to environmental problems. He is currently a Director of Trolltech (OSLO:TROLL), Netvibes, Last.fm, Moo Print, Photoways, Innovative Silicon, Pulsic, Netlog and Kimotion. He has also served on the Board of Directors of U.C. Sampdoria, a football club competing in the Italian Serie A. Before starting Index Ventures, Neil spent four years with Montgomery Securities in San Francisco. Neil has a BA. in History and Economics from Stanford University and a MBA from Harvard Business School.

Barney Schauble, General Partner at Nephila Capital. Barney Schauble joined Nephila in 2004 as a Principal. Mr. Schauble's primary responsibilities include investor relations, risk sourcing, and other business development projects, as well as portfolio management. Mr. Schauble began his career in New York in 1994 as a broker for Marsh, and later moved to Guy Carpenter (Marsh's reinsurance broking subsidiary). Mr. Schauble left Guy Carpenter in 1996 to join Goldman, Sachs & Co as part of their new Risk Markets effort, which was focused on securitizing insurance risks and other areas of intersection between insurance and capital markets. He was transferred to London in 1999, where he co-headed the European effort, before returning to New York in 2002. His responsibilities as a Vice President in Risk Markets included client coverage, product development, syndication and distribution for a variety of structured products such as risk-linked securities, weather derivatives, and credit derivatives. Mr. Schauble joined XL Capital's Weather & Energy subsidiary in 2003, and was appointed head of marketing for the weather business. At XLWE he was responsible for managing a global team, originating weather risk management business and hedging XLWE's excess weather risk with insurance and capital markets counterparties. Mr. Schauble attended Harvard College and received his B.A. in Economics in 1994; he wrote his senior thesis to explore the concept of investing in bonds linked to property catastrophe reinsurance risk.
